Creta este cea mai complexa insula din Grecia din punct de vedere turistic. Are doua aeroporturi Heraklion și Chania. Este foarte bine organizata din punct de vedere al infrastructurii și a transportului în comun. Fiind cea mai sudica insula greceasca este și cea mai călduroasă cu apele cristaline și calde. Cea mai buna perioada de călătorie este din mai pana în septembrie inclusiv. Cele mai populare stațiuni din Chania sunt: Chania orașul capitala, Agia Marina, Kissamos, Georgioupolis, Rethymno.
