Halkidiki reprezinta regiunea din nordul Greciei, unde regasim cele 3 peninsule : Kassandra, Sithonia, Athos; acestea au iesire la Marea Egee. Perioada ideala pentru a vizita aceasta destinatie este de la inceputul lunii iunie pana la finalul lunii octombrie. Se poate ajunge fie cu autocarul, cu plecare din principalele orase ale Romaniei, fie cu transport individual. Este una din cele mai indragite destinatii alese an de an de catre turistii romani, deoarce este la numai 700 km de granita tarii noastre.
