Capitala este Port Louis, alte statiuni cunoscute fiind: Balaclava, Belle Mare, Grand Baie, Le Morne. Cea mai buna perioada pentru a vizita aceasta insula este in lunile ianuarie- aprilie ( cand este si cel mai cald) , dar si in perioada iunie- septembrie. Apogeul turistic este in perioada sarbatorilor de iarna cand tarifele cresc intre Craciun si Revelion. Nu rata vizitele la: Gradina Botanica Pamplemouss, Casela Nature & Leisure Park, Cap Malheureux, Insula Ile aux Cerf.
